Fixed biassing

A method of biassing a tube or output stage by using a negative DC voltage on the grid with respect to the cathode. This name is sometimes confusing, because an amplifier may have a bias adjustment pot to adjust the negative grid voltage, but it is still called "fixed" biassing to differentiate it from "cathode biasing".
